How to Compost at Home

Empty/prepare

Empty the pouch completely. Tear into smaller pieces if desired. All parts of the pouch are made with compostable bioplastics, including the zipper.

Add to Compost

Add to your home compost bin or pile alongside food scraps and yard waste, or cut it up and mix into your garden soil. In a healthy home compost system, it will break down in about two months.

No Compost Access?

Please don't put the pouch in the recycling bin. It isn't compatible with standard recycling streams. If home composting isn't available, regular waste is the right call. The materials are still chosen to minimize long-term environmental impact.
