Ancient plants, carefully combined.

Every ingredient in Ritū was cultivated long before modern coffee culture: chosen for balance, nourishment, and depth of flavor rather than stimulation.

We have globally sourced each ingredient to focus on small scale growers and reduce the water footprint of Ritū. A cup of coffee takes 32 gallons of water to go from seed to cup. A cup of Ritū? 90% less.

Our ingredients:

Roasted Chicory Root

Grounding bitterness, natural prebiotics, and a roasted depth that forms the backbone of Ritū's flavor.

Roasted Barley Extract

Adds body, warmth, and a toasted grain character used in traditional drinks across cultures for centuries.

Shade-grown Cacao

Grown in the Peruvian rainforest canopy. Gives richness and antioxidants with gentle theobromine for energy without the crash.

Amaranth

A subsistence grain of the ancient Aztecs that was almost destroyed by colonization. Adds complete protein, subtle earthiness, and lasting nourishment.

Maíz Murado

Peruvian purple corn. Adds natural color, heritage, and phytonutrients found nowhere else in the blend.

Mesquite

Hand-foraged seed pods of the Mesquite tree add a burnt caramel sweetness with a low glycemic response.
